Great blog from the Performance Architect on why training matters and how to tell when its needed!

I particularly love “When you find yourself talking about what people “should” be doing.”  I find that is a common theme on proposal teams where only the proposal professionals have been trained.  Think of it this way – if your technical expert or subject matter expert (SME) doesn’t understand the RFP process, how will they know what is needed to be compliant?  They don’t – which means your proposal staff waste time trying to train as they go, and editing and redoing what your technical expert is doing!  Training your SME in proposal practices, saves time and frees your staff to focus on the message instead of just compliancy.
